Double- Vs. Single-Cell Blinds
Cellular blinds are characterized by their accordion shape and ability to diffuse light. More specifically, single- and double-cell blinds are manufactured in layers of fabric that are woven together to create tubular cells. This design leads to a reduction in energy cost, which is achieved by filtering light and drafts, trapping air and insulating a room from heat, cold and noise. Although the design is standard, cell blinds come in a variety of fabrics and colors to meet many price points and complement various decor styles.
